Program Registration for The Transformation Center - Empower your Child to Reach Maximum Potential
Download The Transformation Center brochure here. First workshop begins on Saturday, November 7th. DSAM has partnered with The Transformation Center to reduce the program cost to each family for the full six-week program. Please call The Transformation Center at 901-755-1396 to register.
November 5 - Transition 101
6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the DSAM Office
This workshop is designed to assist families in preparing for transition from early intervention to the school system. The workshop is free but you must register by calling the DSAM office at 901-547-7588 by November 3rd.
November 9 - Basic STEP Workshop
6:30 - 9:30 p.m. at the DSAM Office
This STEP (Support and Training for Exceptional Parents) workshop is designed to educate parents on basic special education law, rights and responsibilities for a child qualifying for special education services in the public school system. Workshop is free bu tyou must register by calling the DSAM office at 901-547-7588 by November 6th.
November 14 - DSAM University of Memphis Tailgate Party and Football Game
U of M vs. UAB at Liberty Bowl Stadium
Kick-off is at noon, Tailgate party is prior to kick-off
Call DSAM at 901-547-7588 to reserve your $5 game tickets. Tickets are limited, so call early! Tailgate location will be announced closer to the day of the game. For more information, contact Mills Polatty at 901-827-7710.
December Events
December 1 - DSAM Holiday Mom's Night Out
6:30 p.m. at the home of Martine and Laurie Hobson
Bring a small gift (valued at $10 or less) and enjoy a fun and exciting exchange! Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share as we mingle and meet with other Mom's. RSVP to the DSAM office by November 27th.
December 12 - DSAM Holiday Party
5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Germantown United Methodist Church, Owings Life Center, 2323 West St., Germantown
There is no charge for this event but please RSVP to the DSAM office by December 8th.
